Hello,
68190 - Ungersheim (France) - May 14, 2013
About 11 mm long in a swampland.
Is it possible to say more about it.
Regards
Michel

The color suggests
Chironomus (Camptochironomus) but all I'm confident in saying is female Chironomini. A closer look at the top of the head and the pronotum (immediately above and behind the head) could help ID.

The head is hidden under the thorax from this angle.
