Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachina fera (?) - La Palma

I saw quite a lot of cf. Tachina fera yesterday (2013, March 11th) at Las Tricias/Lomada Grande (Canary Islands, La Palma). Is it T. fera or are there other, similar species on La Palma/the Canary Islands? (Different views available, if you need more/other details!)
Thanks for confirmation/correction,
Marc

If you have additional angles then it would be nice to see them :)

Hi Chris, thanks for your response - due to your latest explanations to T. fera, I think, you want to see front leg and face? Here it comes...

Yes, from the location I would always suspect
canariensis but I am not entirely sure what the features are that confirm that species. Would be nice to have a specimen or two :)
