Hi,
I found this Thephritidae on January 27th, 2013 on a wall of my balcony near Bologna (Italy). Could it be of the genus Tephritis ? And is there any possibility to identify the species? Thanks a lot for your help!

Sorry. Just a Tephritis. No further ideas from these pics.

Thanks a lot Valery for your reply.
Can you tell me which details would be useful for identification in this family (if it is possible at all to identify some species from photos). Thank you.

In general, a good picture of wing pattern is ok, rarely colouration of abdominal setulae and length of ovipositor are important. In this case, the wing pattern is common for 8-10 species, and no details are visible because of flares and overlapping.
