If it's a
Eudasyphora the species can be distinguished by
"Several ad setae on tibia t2 or one ad seta opposite to pv seta" ...
cordilleriana,

E. canadiana) about halfway between pv seta and distal end of tibia." ...

John, tristram and Stephane, thank you for your help to name this fly!!
It is a real blue fly, as the Neomyia viridiscens picture is taken at the same place the same moment.
