Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid for ID, C Spain --> Stomina sp. female

Only managed these 3 pictures and no lateral shot. And looks like it is a female. Not very promising. But any help to say something more specific than 'Tachinidae':D will be most appreciated :)

Taken in the mountains of Madrid on August the 7th 2012.

How can I recognize the Stomina genus? I am sure I am going to find many more of these in my pictures from last August ;) Seemed to be pretty common :)

Have a lateral look at the head, the mouth margin is strongly projecting. Moreover, the arista is (often shortly) plumose.

All of which is invisible in the pictures above....

(Erikas recognized the specific abdominal pattern, I guess.)
