Thread subject: Diptera.info :: A second Tabanus species from Bulgaria (2012)

As indicated in my previous posting I photographed three different Tabanus collections on my most recent visit to Bulgaria, I think three different species. I have the specimens of all of these.This is the second specimen as photographed on 6 Aug 2012 above Dumrovitse fish farm. I would be grateful if anyone is able to suggest an identification for the species.

Tabanus glaucopis group. Probably glaucopis itself, but wait for Theo's confirmation.

Any indication of size ?

Many thanks Theo. The length (from front of head to tip of abdomen is 17mm, wing length from point of insertion to tip is 14mm, Is this sufficient or would it help if I take a photograph of the specimen with a ruler beside it?
