Found in the vegetation by a rivulet in mixted decidous forest in N Spain on August the 17th 2012. Help, pleeeeease!! Too cute to be without a name, even for the family ;)

Could also be Opomyza petrei. Do you have another picture with a better view on the abdomen?

Hi!

I was there too and got this profile shot of the little cutie. Hope it shows the clues to confirm the species...

Best wishes

Thanks Marian, for adding the lateral view :D :D

Yes, it is exactly the same specimen. In fact I found it and told her to take pictures of it as it looked new to us (Marian and I are sisters and I was on holidays with her ;) ) Such is life :D :D I am glad she got the perfect shot |t

Thanks sooo much, Jan and Roger for your help!! |t |t
