This is the first
Campsicnemus I have come across, but in my interpretation, d'Assis Fonseca does not resolve it. The 'inverted' knees suggest
scambus, but there are long setae on both the dorsal and ventral surfaces and the figure in this key suggests dorsal only. The head was lost during setting but the face was dark yellow and the clypeus white.
Caught in woodland near Lincoln UK 22/8/12.
