Hi, is that nice small fly (# 4 mm) a Lonchaeidae, may be Lonchaea

its a great photo - I am reasonably confident that this is a specimen of Setisquamalonchaea fumosa often feeding at flowers in late summer. I am compiling a checklist of French Lonchaeidae - could you please send me the location and date information for your photo - many thanks ........ Iain
