Hello,

I found this little diptera while I was zooming a shot, it wasn't my subject in the shot ;)
Maybe it's the Tephritis cometa?

Yes, seems to be it :)

Just one thing, are you sure that it's mapped in Italy?

Thanks for your help!

At least, I have included it into Fauna Europaea database. Please check. It is recorded.

You'r right, I have search on discoverlife site and other 3 .gov site and there it say no record in Italy.
Then I searched for some photos in Italy and no one seems to shot it!
Finally in faunait and faunaeur I found the record in Italy ;)

Thanks for your help!

Maybe around the web is a bit of confusion ...

Marcello
