Hello! Can anyone help me with the id of this tachinid? I found it in an area with wet meadows, orchards and deciduous forest (chestnuts, oaks, laurels ...). The area is located in northwest Spain, near the coast, temperate climate.

Perhaps Phasia obesa? 19/07/2012

Thanks!

Sorry, i have problems with the photo, i wil try again....

I'm guessing Phasia aurigera (female) but I don't see this species here so I might be wrong :)

Thank you very much Chris, I look for the species comparing with photos of the site and I'm never sure, but I also know that most are very difficult to identify by photos (sorry for my english) ;)
