Hi,

I caught this trying to sneak up on me while i was fishing on the river Wye near Rhayader in Powys, mid-Wales.

15mm long, all black antennae, no eye bands. Wide frons with two shiny, black markings.

Could she be T. cordiger? Although scarce there is at least one record from not far from here.

Many thanks,

Steve

That is nice.

Cordiger larvae live in streaming waters, so that figures...
