Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Italian Tabanid

Hi,

I found this huge Tabanid in north Italia, (Zumaglia, province of Biella, about 400m of altitude) at the base of Alps.
I didn't catch it, but it was easily more than 3 cm

Maybe a Tabanus?
