This fly is 1.2mm long. Quite small. I damaged the antenna. It was on top of low foliage in my yard (Wild violets). I think it is a Doli but I am not certain. Any help on species?

Looks like Chrysotus sp. female. Could you make a photo from the posterior part of the thorax?

Thanks Sara and Stefan.

I'll take an additional photo tonight and post it as Stefan requested. I looked at other Chrysotus sp. on BugGuide.net and they look similar. Do they not have the alternating rows of red and green eye color seen in the Condylostylus species?

The posterior part of the mesonotum is not flattened or depressed, so I think it is Chrysotus.
