Is it possible to get anywhere near and ID for this Cranefly with yellow/black striated legs found in damp woodland?
ID needed for Bioblitz records.

Female of
Epiphragma (Epiphragma) ocellare , it is in the family Limoniidae.

Many thanks Chen. I'm sure you're right and i can just make out the distinctive markings on the wings.
