Today I photographed this horsefly. The size was approx. 20mm. It was sitting on a flower in front of my house in Novo mesto, Slovenia.

I was looking all aver the internet and can't really identify it. It looks to me like Hybomitra muehlfeldi or maybe Tabanus bovinus. Ideas?
