Hi,

I do not immediately recognizes the family or the gender of this one.
It was taken in Louvain-la-neuve, Belgium (2012/06/16). The wings are quite long! It looks like Hemyda...

It's a very unusual-looking phasiine tachinid called Hemyda obscuripennis :) Nice find.

... In mainland Europe ;) we never get obscuripennis here in the UK and vittata is very rare indeed :(

That's the first time I see her here. It was not that easy to take the pictures : it's a fast mover :)
