I don't seem to get anywhere with this one. I end up at either Dicranoptycha or Neolimnophila, but neither fits completely. Any other ideas ? About 13mm long, wing length 6mm. Joris

Oops, too fast. Found the key to the Chioneinae at the back of provisional key bundle ... With that I quickly got to
Gnophomyia viridipennis. Corrections/confirmation wellcome. joris

Gnophomyia for sure, wouldn't go further w/o male genitalia...

Very true - I did look at the male genitalia. this should be OK for
viridipennnis, I think.

Agree - greatly undercollected group (recently I've got some
G. ctenura, a Far Eastern sp., from Kaluga region, Central Russia)
