I found some of these two weeks ago, near Stockholm, Sweden. Can it be identified to species?

Stegana, yes, but I am hesitant to put a species name on it just off hand.

Can I send it to you for identification?

I'm also interested in more information on how these flies live, I observed 20 specimens on a dead birch with polypores and a large Lasius fuliginosus colony.
