Hi,
I am thinking
Megaselia (
Phoridae). Is this correct? If yes, I will try to go further with the determination of the species (I have the Disney key for the British
Megaselia). However, any help with the species would already be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi again,
I am trying to identify this Scuttle Fly using the Disney's key for the UK. I am not always sure I am looking at the right structures and therefore would need your help.
In panel A, is the mesopleuron bare? Is a notopleural cleft visible?
In panel B, is 1 the epandrium and 3 the 6th tergite? What is 2? Maybe 1+2 form the epandrium? Are spiracles visible on the abdomen and if yes are they enlarged or not?
In panel C, how many pair of bristles on the scutellum?
Thanks
