Characters in photo showing why this is a musciid and noot an anthomyiid.

There are setulae on hind coxae (just visible), and there is no setula on venrtal surface of hind tarsi near base, which is present in Anthomyiidae. In dorsalphoto there are 4 posterior dorsocentral setae, very rare in Anthomyiidae

Hope the arrows show up!

This discussion shows how careful you have to be, if people give identifications down to species based on pictures. Especially in such difficult families like Anthomyiidae, Muscidae etc. I am always weary of such diagnoses and usually I don't believe them if I cannot verify them myself. Of course, there are specialists out there who get it right, but the problem is that I do not know if it is right or not
