This was an amusing scene to watch. Marsh Fly (Sepedon cf. fuscipennis) "kisses" ladybug (Coleomegilla maculata). Later it stepped on the beetle.

I'm reminded of the old tale "belling the cat." Ladybugs (lady beetles, ladybird beetles) are famed predators of other insects.
