Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Scathophagidae, Cleigastra apicalis [confirmed]

2012-05-23. Woodland edge, Leicestershire, UK. Small predatory fly feeding on moth.
Not even sure which family this is in, any ID help appreciated.

Scathophagidae; Looks like it might be Cleigastra sp. maybe apicalis (f) going by Gallery pics.

Thank you both for the input. I see the similarities with Nanna but Cleigastra apicalis (f) has the edge for me.

Can anyone give a definitive opinion?
