Can this be Pollenia leclercqiana? It looks way too similar to this one:

I think it has to be Pollenia anyway as it doean't seem to fit at all any other of the genera found in Spain, and fits a Pollenia which has lost its golden hairs reasonably well. And if it is Pollenia, the dark abdomen should make things a bit easier (not easy though ;) )

Confirmation or correct ID will be most welcome ;)

Taken in mixed woodland by a river in the outskirts of Madrid on the 30th March 2012.

A comment in the thread you linked says "stalked R5" which your fly does not have.

There is a bunch of similar species, amentaria, atramentaria and so on.
