Rhagio scolopaceus or latipennis. Remind this topic at Thursday morning. I will check my animal at work and also the key which I have at office.

So, I believe it is Rh. scolopaceus. Rh. latipennis has all coxae yellow.

In this case the VanVeen key (
http://home.hccne...hagio.html) clearly leads to
R. scolopaceus, but does not include
R. latipennis that is close to
R. strigosus. However, we have a good
R. latipennis thread here:
http://www.dipter...;pid=89164 :)

Note I went and calculated the proportion wing length/width from my image and the one there in R. latipennis thread, looking from bird perspective and there is not much difference. approx 2,6 factor in both cases.

Certainly, the yellow coxae of
R. latipennis are more decisive than wing dimensions.
