Ooohh what a funny feeling : it is very common this year ! Only this year ? Or ... ?
Indeed, I saw it each time I went out to shoot insects since april 2012 ... !!!

Here in the UK we had a quite warm and very dry March and so I think the early Spring tachinids (
Tachina ursina,
T. lurida &
Gonia picea) had a very good year. It also probably helped that Spring 2011 was also dry and warm too. :)
