Hi folks.
My friend and I need some experts to see this two Tachina ursina? we found on a trip in SE Norway. The area we were collecting have shown a lots of nice flies and other insects on other visits.
First I post two of mine pics from the T. ursina I collected, and the next pics is from my friends fly.
They do not seems to be the same species, so if some of you will give some feedback we will be happy.

Does this band on abdomen 5 justify this fly as a Tachina ursina?

Yes, that's correct :) Both have a dusted band on the anterior of tergite 5 so they are T.ursina :)

The coloration is slightly variable but Tachina ursina always has the anterior stripe on tergite 5 and it is usually hairier and earlier than the alternative, Tachina lurida. There is another species called T.nigrohirta that looks similar but it is very rare and usually restricted to the area around Czech Republic. But, again, it doesn't have this stripe :)
