April 11, 2012, Lai Chau prov., Hoang Lien National Park. Size ca. 6mm. This is just one of numerous fruit flies that came to wet stones in a stream. I checked images in Korneyev (2004), Ito (1972), Chen and Wang (2008) and think it looks much like
A. multipilosa from Korea.

It is obviously a male, and it has normal antennae and setae, so it cannot be
Aischrocrania. It is certainly an
Acidiella, which is quite an unrevised genus. You can try, of course, Korneyev & Ovchinnikova (2004), but there is only a loose compilation rather than a reliable key.
