Sorry for the bad quality...
This should be a member of the Micropezidae family-
is it possible to determine the genus?
found in northern Germany

No, it is a Platypalpus (Hybotidae).

wow... I think thats the first one I have got from that family... !

It must be closely related to Empididae, is it?
I thought first it was a member of the Micropetidae or Dolichopodidae because of the very long legs..

As luck would have it I found a lot more of this family now when I was lingering in the forest. On most trees where a lot of them, but in that case I think they were the Genus Tachydromia...
I will put them in a new thead next week when I upload the pictures of my Camera o the Computer.
