Good evening to everybody,

I am posting the image of probably a fairly common species, nevertheless, any help is appreciated. Captured on 20 April 2012, Southern Bohemia, Czech Republic.

In fact, I noticed this specimen when it was almost without wings running about amongs ants. At first I thought something had gone wrong during its development, so I took it with me out of curiosity. But I was mistaken. Within an hour, the wings fully developped and I am now wiser....

Anyway, thank you in advance.

S.

I don't really see enough in the photo and it looks quite anonymous so I'll pass. If you have a specimen then I'd be happy to look at it though :)

Maybe Triarthria setipennis

Not Triarthria - the fly in the photos lacks parafacial bristles and the arista seems to be the wrong shape for Triarthria.
