It is a difficult job to name Platypalpus species from Western Europe, though the species are fairly wellknown. I choose my words carefully. From photo's it is almost always impossible to say which species. From your area, Manual, just forget it! Even when receiving specimens for studying under the microscope will give me quite some trouble.
