At the edge of an open space, in a middle of a forest 20 km south from Paris (F), April 22/2012.

Could it be a Rhamphomyia ?

Indeed I had a look at the gallery and found this one which looks like mine.

I was expecting that those inflated tharsis were a clue to species level ... which it seems not ...
