Photographed in the Netherlands, 11-04-2012. Bergen (N.H.)
I think Phorocera obscura. Am I right? I've them every year in the garden, but they are still difficult. Like three years ago.

They are different species - the first 2 have bare eyes and the last 2 have hairy eyes ... and the wing venation is different ;)
I'll pass on this puzzle but I think at least 1 photos shows
Phorocera :)

The first two specimens looks like
Oswaldia muscaria, and the second two specimens are
Phorocera obscura (male and female), I would say.

Thanks Erikas.
Oswaldia muscaria is indeed very similar, when I look at other photos.
I have one other photo.

Yes, Erikas is much better at putting names to photos than I am but I would agree with his suggestions - they are very plausible :)
