Large 1cm, pale midge with very bushy antennae. A few males flying slowly over heathland and hanging on grasses, bushes by middle legs, "twirling" antennae from time to time. I know ID to genus is tricky but will attach the best views i have to date of the terminalia in case anyone can help.

11.4.12 Bedfordshire, UK

Chironomini. I think it's somewhere near Chironomus.
