Yes, if you send it to someone who can key it out and compare the genitalia with Michael Ackland's drawings. Joke may be more reliable than me (in many ways :D), or you could ask Ackland himself if he's not too busy. If all else fails, I'll have a go.

Ok, that seams to be a good idea, but sorry, who is Joke?
I have it dry, is it enough for genitalia? (I should easily find an other specimen from my garden to have it in alcohol)
And i could send a specimen to both of you if you what to have a go :)

You will find Joke (javanerkelens) in the members list here:
http://www.dipter...lookup=846 - she has done some serious studying in Anthomyiidae. For me it is only a game B) But if you have more male specimens I would be happy to check one out. If you send a Personal Message I will reply with my address.

That explain why i didnt find any Joke in the member list :)
So would you be interested by this specimen Joke or you want Stephen to try?
It's rainy here so i didn't found any other specimen yet. :|
But it could be a perfect exercise for you to compare your result :D (if i found an other specimen, as i hope)
