This is the last of the six fly specimens that I managed to photograph on my recent Cyprus trip and the least impressive, though perhaps one for Stephane? It was found near Avtepe on 30 March 2012 and was another species that seemed to like
Glebionis (Chrysanthemum) coronarium flowers. Unfortunately it has shed a leg. I do have the specimen which is about 8mm long.
Any suggestions as to identification greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Alan

Yes, I'd guess Tachinidae but I'd need to see the specimen to be sure or have a go at an identification :)
