Something for Tony: is this hibernating mosquito Culiseta glaphyroptera? Pictures made by a colleague... I am not 100% able to exclude Culex pipiens from pictures...

It looks like it, but glaphyroptera is not a species I know well, and I'm not sure what similar species you may have in your area.
I don't think it's a Culex species anyway.

Thanks, Tony. Nothing similar to glaphyroptera in my region. So, if you agree with me it is not any Culex, so Cs. glaphyroptera is the only solution.
