Hello,
this photo is from last may from a bee house in my garden in western germany. I suppose it's Anthrax anthrax. But what is the silver balll behind it? An egg? Excrements?

looka to be a recently emerged A. anthrax, all insects on emergece from pupae excrete waste built up during pupal period.
