Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Bombyliidae - possibly Bombylius cruciatus??

I photographed this Bombyliidae species in a field in the north-east of Portugal in June 2011.

Someone has suggested that it could be Bombylius cruciatus - can anybody confirm this?
