Stratiomyid? Tuis, Caribbean slope, Costa Rica, 5 March 2012. Length 5.9 mm.

After looking at a lot of pictures of fly body parts, I am wondering if this might be a Euparyphus sp.? I am basing that mostly on the slender, annulate antenna that seem to have no arista, or a very small one not visible in the photo.

Those two scutellar spines are much bigger than anything I have found in on-line photos...
