I'm probably miles off, but the wing veins look right, to me, for Sarcophagidae.
Is this right? And can anyone expand on the basis of this not-very-good image?

Muscidae. Sarcophagidae have a sharp bend in the median vein. This could be something like
Helina evecta/annosa (abdomoinal spots and hairy eyes), but there isn't enough evidence to be confident ;)

Thanks, Updating title. Will be on the lookout for similar flies to get more informative angles...
