Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Opomyzidae? -> Opomyza cf. germinationis

Hello,

this ~5mm fly is from last august from a forest near Garmisch-Patenkirchen in the bavarian alps (800m). Is it an Opomyzidae? Can the genus or the species be identified?

Yes this is Opomyzidae. most likely Opomyza germinationis. though Opomyza petrei cannot be ruled out without seeing a dorsal view of the abdomen
