I saw this fly in my garden (the Netherlands, 20 june 2011), but it's hard to find his name.
Can somebody help me?

Sapromyza halidayi (=
sordida in older works).

Thanks. Does more people need to agree on this id to be sure?
Paul, Is this a general kind of fly in the Netherlands? I can't get much information about this fly.

The dark markings at the tip of the front femora are very telling. Paul will know more about Netherlands distribution, but there will be several other supafially similar yellow lauxaniids.
In the UK these are not uncommon.

The species is certainly widespread and I think it is, like in the UK, not uncommon. They are often found in and around the house, though rarely in high numbers it seems.
