Back to my general habit of calling anything with a bristly ahem a Tachinid, I'm calling this one a Tachinid. Can anyone expand?

Chongwe, Lusaka, Zambia.
On mother-in-law's tongue, amongst non-edible ginger, under native fruit tree (Mpundu), within patchwork of dry scrub and ornamental gardens.
Date: 21 August 2011.
Size... 9-11mm (probably).

Thanks!

William.
