Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Drosophilidae, Scaptomyza pallida, northern Norway

Have had one similar identified as Scaptomyza pallida earlier, is it the same species? Size is only 2 mm, photographed 6.10.2011 coastal locality in Bodø, northern Norway.

Thank you very much for confirming. I'm actually wondering a bit about what separates pallida from the other Scaptomyza? Think all of them looks the same (in the gallery here).

S. pallida is the only continental European Scaptomyza with biserial ac, the others all have four rows.
