Have had one similar identified as Scaptomyza pallida earlier, is it the same species? Size is only 2 mm, photographed 6.10.2011 coastal locality in Bodø, northern Norway.

Thank you very much for confirming. I'm actually wondering a bit about what separates pallida from the other Scaptomyza? Think all of them looks the same (in the gallery here).

S. pallida is the only continental European
Scaptomyza with biserial
