Yes, it is a Sarcophaga sp. but it is impossible to go further without seeing the male genitalia under a microscope ;)

Very many thanks Sara and Chris. There is a point to my quest for IDs currently. Two of my local "wildernesses" are under threat and I am producing as wide a photographic legacy of the biodiversity as I am able. Thanks again for the help
