Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid sep 2010 still unknown

This fly was seen 1 sep 2010 in riverine area in the Netherlands in field of Cirsium arvense at edge of natural grazing fields. Hope someone can ID this fly. My guess .. Lydella thompsoni

Are you sure that these are all the same individual fly ... or even the same species? It looks like a mixture again.

yes I took these pictures from the same individual in one series of 3 minutes.

This leaves us so far in the status unknown genera and species. Unless may be someone recognizes familiar characteristics. What about the sturmia spot. [see picture] I suppose there are only a few species with such a spot.
