Hi!
I have painstakingly come to an ID for this and, heart in mouth, I think I got it right! Andrzej? :D
It was inside on my window on 21st January, near Lincoln UK. Size ~6mm

It was worth a few aches and pains! :D
As the fly was temporarily captive I had to take advantage, I know you need to see very close detail to ID these. In the past I have let them go too easily, now I have keys I was able to ID it. Shhh, some people don't like female clever old sausages. ;)
