This is a Diopsis from the ichneumonea group. A revision of this group is necessary before a species name can be given.

Thank you!

Would it be acceptable to change title, and file, to "Diopsis ichneumonea sensu lato?"

I don't think that using D. ichneumonea s.l. is a good idea. D. ichneumonea was the first diopsid ever described (by Linnaeus/Dahl) and the name has often wrongly been used. D. ichneumonea has a red collar, typical black/red configuration on abdomen, typical preapical wingspot and occurs in West Africa. In the group to which it gives its name are besides about 10 described species another 40 undescribed species.

Ah... quite a desperate need for a revision.

Just Diopsis sp. then.

Thanks!
