Not sure if any further ID is possible, but if someone could confirm whether this is Aedes (and/or suggest a likely species in the area), I'd be grateful.

Place: Chongwe District, Lusaka Province, Zambia.

Habitat: in thicket of (non-native) ginger.

Date: 07/10/2011

Size: 5mm (excluding legs)

Very likely Aedes aegypti (male)
